CartFlows Pro – Installation Guide

Overview #

CartFlows Pro extends the free CartFlows funnel builder with advanced checkout, order-bump, upsell/downsell, conversion, and funnel-control features for WooCommerce.

When to use it. Use it when a WooCommerce site needs a guided sales funnel rather than only the standard shop-to-checkout flow.

Before You Begin #

Platform compatibility. Use a WordPress and PHP combination supported by the current developer release. Minimum versions can change; verify the current official product page or plugin/theme metadata before production deployment. Do not bypass an activation or compatibility warning without identifying its cause.

Requirements and dependencies #

  • – WooCommerce must be installed and configured.
  • – CartFlows Free must remain installed and active.
  • – A compatible payment gateway in test mode.
  • – A staging site or dedicated test products for safe funnel validation.

Pre-installation checks #

  • – Back up the site and document the existing cart, checkout, thank-you, payment, tax, coupon, and email behavior.
  • – Enable sandbox/test mode for every payment method used during setup.
  • – Confirm that no other checkout replacement controls the same endpoint.

Installation #

  1. 1. Download the installable ZIP from the Nippy Launch Resource Library and keep it compressed.
  2. 2. Install WooCommerce and CartFlows Free.
  3. 3. Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin.
  4. 4. Upload the CartFlows Pro ZIP, install it, and activate it.
  5. 5. Open CartFlows and complete the setup wizard.
  6. 6. Confirm WooCommerce pages and the selected builder are available before importing or creating a flow.

License Activation #

  1. 1. First, check whether the Pro version is already active, as manual license entry may not be required.
  2. 2. Open CartFlows > Settings > License, and confirm the status.
  3. 3. If no developer-issued license is available, do not assume that updates, templates, or vendor services are included with the archive.

Important. A premium download does not automatically establish ownership of the original developer’s account, license key, automatic-update service, cloud features, or direct support. Use only Credentials that are valid for this site and were supplied through an authorized account or an explicit Nippy Launch entitlement.

Initial Setup #

  1. 1. Create one flow with landing, checkout, and thank-you steps.
  2. 2. Select a test product and configure checkout fields, offers, and order behavior.
  3. 3. Add an order bump or upsell only after the base checkout succeeds.
  4. 4. Configure analytics/tracking and consent consistently with the site’s privacy policy.
  5. 5. Complete approved, declined, canceled, refunded, and guest/customer test paths.

Recommended Configuration #

  • – Build and validate the shortest working funnel before adding offers.
  • – Use payment sandbox mode until every step and email is verified.
  • – Keep checkout fields minimal but retain legally, tax, shipping, and fulfillment-required data.
  • – Avoid stacking multiple checkout, cart, or funnel plugins.
  • – Confirm inventory, tax, shipping, coupons, subscriptions, and analytics through the entire flow.

Main Features #

The installed edition can provide the following primary capabilities. Availability may depend on the active plan, add-ons, and current release.

  • – Sales-flow builder
  • – Optimized checkout and field controls
  • – Order bumps, one-click upsells, and downsells
  • – Landing and thank-you steps
  • – Templates, analytics, and conversion-oriented controls

How to Use It #

Practical starting workflow. Create a three-step test flow for a low-cost sandbox product. Complete checkout, accept and decline an upsell, inspect the WooCommerce order, verify emails and analytics, then repeat on mobile before using a real product.

Integrations #

  • – WooCommerce
  • – Supported page builders
  • – Payment gateways
  • – Subscriptions, CRM, analytics, tax, and fulfillment plugins must be tested with the exact funnel configuration

Enable an integration only after its account ownership, permissions, data flow, and failure behavior have been tested. Keep secret Credentials out of page content and screenshots.

Common Issues & Troubleshooting #

  • – Flow page returns 404. Resave permalinks and verify step URLs and publication status.
  • – Payment is declined. Check sandbox Credentials, currency, gateway logs, required checkout fields, and webhook configuration.
  • – Upsell is not charged. Confirm gateway compatibility with one-click offers and use the official CartFlows guidance for that gateway.
  • – Wrong template controls checkout. Disable competing checkout replacements and review flow assignments.
  • – Analytics duplicates. Ensure events are not sent simultaneously by CartFlows, the theme, GTM, and another analytics plugin.

If the problem persists, reproduce it on staging, capture the exact error and relevant logs, and compare the behavior with nonessential plugins temporarily disabled. Restore the production site rather than troubleshooting destructively in place.

Updating the Plugin or Resource #

  1. 1. Back up and test updates with WooCommerce, gateway, CartFlows Free, and Pro versions on staging.
  2. 2. Repeat the complete sandbox funnel, including offers and webhooks.
  3. 3. Monitor live conversion and payment errors after deployment.
  • – Confirm that the backup completed and can be accessed independently of WordPress.
  • – Review the official changelog and compatibility notes.
  • – Update during a low-risk window and keep a tested rollback path.
  • – Clear relevant caches and perform the product-specific functional tests listed above.

Uninstallation #

  1. 1. Export or document flows and disconnect tracking/webhooks that will no longer be used.
  2. 2. Restore a standard WooCommerce checkout before deleting the plugin.
  3. 3. Confirm no menus, ads, or emails still link to CartFlows step URLs.

Deactivation and deletion are not the same as data removal. Confirm the product’s current cleanup options, Database tables, uploaded files, remote data, connected accounts, and continuing external billing or scheduled actions before removal.

Security & Best Practices #

  • – Use HTTPS and trusted payment gateways.
  • – Never place secret gateway keys in page content.
  • – Limit checkout administration to trusted users.
  • – Use consent-aware tracking and minimize collected customer data.
  • – Use unique administrator accounts, least-privilege roles, HTTPS, and multi-factor authentication where supported.
  • – Keep the resource, WordPress, PHP, theme, and dependencies on supported versions.
  • – Store backups and recovery instructions outside the WordPress site.
